Uber wants to fly you to your destination in a drone

Uber’s chief product officer, Jeff Holden, sat down with Kara Swisher of Recode’s at the Nantucket Conference this week telling her that the company is looking into VTOL aircrafts to provide lifts to Uber customers. Recently Uber has also discussed their desire to start using driverless cars. They’ve been pushing in that direction for quite some time and recently launched a pilot project. But Uber is not to only interested in taking it to the skies, as Chin’s Ehand, showed off a quadcopter drone intended to fly you to work. Other companies are working on similar drones and vehicles, such as a leading aircraft manufacturer, Airbus.
