Armed police ordered out of the Rustenburg Regional Court

A contingency of armed police were ordered out of the Rustenburg Regional Court in North West as 14 Nigerian Nationals appeared on charges of public violence. The armed officials were ordered to vacate the court after failing to apply to the presiding magistrate to enter court with ammunition. The 14 Nigerian men were arrested earlier this year, after they stormed the local police station demanding protection, following a spate of violent attacks on foreign nationals suspected of drug peddling and prostitution.
